What To Expect: A Day At Camp!
Schedule | What To Expect |
---|---|
House Meeting | Each day begins with a House Meeting, to give everyone the opportunity to check-in. We will usually do a quick energizer such as yoga stretches or mini games to get going, before heading to breakfast |
Breakfast | Everyone will assemble in our dining halls, for a nutritious breakfast. There are different options available everyday including cereal, fruit, yoghurt, and cooked options! |
House Challenge | Our activity day starts with a morning challenge in our House Teams! The challenge might be a physical activity, a brain teaser, or quest for the day! |
Multi-Activity | We offer over 40+ different activities across the summer! You will join two different activities each morning. Activities range from art to Zumba, and everything in between! In the break between activities, you can grab some refreshments and relax in the Hub – your dedicated social space |
Lunch & House Time | After an action-packed morning, our campers will head to the dining hall to refuel at lunch time! There are always at least two different hot options available (including vegetarian) and a fantastic salad bar. After lunch, campers will return to base to get ready for the afternoon. Our House staff always have some bonus activities prepared to keep everyone moving! |
Clubs | In the afternoon you will head off to your chosen Club. Our four clubs are Sport, STEM, Showtime!, and Art and Design. All our Clubs give you the opportunity to do something you are passionate about, develop new skills, and build confidence |
House Time & Dinner | Before dinner there’s a chance to relax and unwind with your new friends, share stories from the day, and make a quick call home if you want to! At dinner there is another great selection of food on offer, and make sure you leave room for dessert! |
Evening Events | The evening programme brings all our campers together for some big, exciting events. Talent Shows, Quizzes, Secret Safari, and much, much more! |
Lights out | After a tiring day, campers will head back to their houses to unwind and get a good nights sleep so everyone’s ready for another exciting day tomorrow! |

Evening Events
One of the main advantages of a residential camp is the opportunity to run an exciting evening events programme and here at Varsity we go the extra mile to deliver that. At the end of each day, the whole camp comes together to take part in a standout event where campers can have fun, be creative, inspired, energised, and socialise with their new friends. Our previous events programmes have included events such as: Silly Olympics, Capture the Flag, Water-based Challenges and Sculpture Challenges. All of our events are tailored to the audience and delivered by a team of experienced activity leaders.
All together fun!
